Many agents and homeowners wonder why the "Short Sale" process takes so long. A quick answer to their question:  Most real estate agents simply do not take the time needed to present a FULL Short Sale Package with all of the necessary information needed to expedite a short sale.  With all of the new rules and regulations the government is placing on Mortgage Service Companies,  it is in their best interest  to work with the homeowner to secure the highest and best price for their property.  

At Short Sale Resolution Network, we teach licensed Real Estate Agents the EXACT process each of the lenders we work with require.   The short sale processor will give the homeowner up to three network  real estate agents in their immediate area to interview for their listing.  Once the homeowner chooses their prefered agent, the agent will meet with the homeowner to secure the signed listing contract and will be required to do a full BPO.  The listing contract and the BPO  must be forwarded to our processing center with in 2 days of the listing appointment.   This BPO process narrows down the evaluation process and expedites the lenders decision on the acceptable selling price.

Real Estate Agents/Brokers

The Network is here for you.  We are in the process of securing contracts with many of the major lien holders, government agencies and homeowners who are looking for agents like you to sell their properties.  The Network was formed out of the need to find real estate agents who either already know how to work a short sale or who are willing to learn our system to close short sales in record time! 

The Network secures leads and refers the homeowner up to 3 trained agents who are members of the network.  Once the Homeowner chooses the listing agent, the agent has a time line to follow and must follow strict contract guideline. Prior to the listing appointment the homeowner will be required to start the short sale packge and processing begins.  The listing agent will be required to place the property on the MLS, order the sign up on the property and hold an open house the first Friday following the listing appointment.  Network  agents will work together to secure buyers.  If necessary, a second open house will be required on the 2nd Saturday from the listing appointment.  Open House Experts are available to pre-qualify buyers at all open houses.  Offers are secured and back up offers are in place usually after the first open house.  Listing agents generally are paid 2 %, with a .5%  fee to the Network and a $795 Short Sale Processing fee.  Agents will be informed twice a week via e-mail as to the status of their files in process.
